Drop the Jargon Day 2025
Since 2014, CEH has used Drop the Jargon Day to highlight how unclear language can create barriers to healthcare, particularly for people from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
This year’s theme, Meet people where they are, focuses on embedding health literacy principles to build understanding and empower communities. In partnership with Jean Hailes for Women’s Health, we’ll highlight how community voices help shape clear, accessible health information.

Community Paramedics – a new way of doing community health?

This CEH webinar, we talk to The Social Policy Group on their project about information for safe and healthy pregnancy. We will look at their key learnings and discuss what its like to have sensitive conversations, reduce barriers and improve access to education for multicultural women.
